— Brand Identity and Sales.
Inside The Project
The Fox & Stone is a family-owned artisan jeweler who began expanding at a rapid pace after being featured on Etsy. They needed a professional brand identity to match the buzz around their products. Here is what we did…
— The project
Challenge & Solution
Challenge: When Jeana and Jared of the Fox & Stone approached me to reinvent their brand from the ground up I was excited and honored. Because they are so creative themselves I knew I had to come up with something that would knock their socks off and impress their customer base. Expectations were high!
Solution: Because the Fox & Stone makes all of their jewelry by hand and values old-world craftsmanship, I knew the solution would be a logo and color palette created with traditional artisan styling. Part of their brand identity is magical, mysterious and earthy… this made it obvious to include alchemist symbolisms and using gold and silver textures.
While the symbol of the fox has been used in branding many times over, the brand identity easily stands on its own and becomes a memorable and recognizable business because everything created was custom and unique.
Curating the photography and textures was an absolute delight and something Alley Jean is known for. The color palette, logo, and forming the visual strategy around the Fox & Stone’s current and targeted audience was extended across multiple digital platforms with ease.
Even down to the small but still important brand touches such as professional online profile pictures, icons graphics, and social media templates for sharing, the Fox & Stone brand messaging made it fun to create and it all came out beautiful!
What they said…
“Working with Alley Jean of Red Unicorn Media was one of the best decisions we have ever made for our company. The process she uses is very intuitive. The way she approaches creating a brand helped us clearly define not only who we are and what we wanted our brand to look like, but also helped us hone exactly who we want to be.
Building a brand with her was like taking an in-depth course into what branding should evoke, what it should inspire, who we want to attract, and inspiring and teaching us how to use that branding across multiple platforms.
When all was said and done, Jared and I both felt a deeper connection to our business, each other, and our customers since by then we knew exactly who they were. That in turn, gave us the confidence to completely refresh our website knowing that we were now going to attract the kind of customers we love working with.
In terms of monetary gain, having a solid brand that we can confidently share with the world increased our profits and enabled us to really start pursuing our dreams of building our custom design studio. We made a dynamic shift in the way we do business thanks to our time with Alley and it has paid off big time!”
